Why travel to Van Long? Why not Tam Coc?
-
Van Long is similar to Tam Coc, except Van Long is a designated nature reserve. Support responsible tourism.
-
The limestone karsts are better protected and maintained in Van Long.
-
As Tam Coc is not a designated nature reserve, you will be confronted and hassled by hawkers on row boats.
-
What to bring: sleeping bags, a cable lock for your bags, flashlights, comfortable walking shoes, small change for tips and to buy drinks, first-aid kit and insect repellent are recommended. Avoid bringing valuables, except your original passports, which are required to check in to hotels. |
