Day 1: Hanoi - Mai Chau (L, D)
Am: 7h00 Depart to Mai Chau. Stop in Hoa Binh. Visit Thai village, Ban Van & Ban Lac. Overnight in Mai Chau.
Day 2: Mai Chau - Son La (B, D)
Stop to visit small ethnic hamlets scattering along the way from Yen Chau, Moc Chau (Muong people). Overnight in Son La.
Day 3: Son La - Lai Chau (B, D)
Short walk on the way. Visit the hill-tribe hamlets including the Black Tay, Meo, Muong and White Tay. Free trekking to the old French Prison, Hot Springs and natural caves. Vân Long pass, Ban Nâm Na and other villages in the surroundings). Overnight at Lai Chau.
Day 4: Lai Chau (B, D)
Breakfast at hotel. Full day boat trip along on the Da River and visit minorities villages on the river banks. Overnight at Lan Anh hotel in Lai Chau.
